Quin Sculpture Garden & Gallery - View the works of renowned South African Sculptor Maureen Quin in Alexandria, Sunshine Coast, Eastern Cape

Quin Sculpture Garden is situated in the small village of Alexandria on the Sunshine Coast, Eastern Cape South Africa. A beautiful garden housing the works of renowned sculptor, Maureen Quin. The garden is open for tea and coffee, to allow for a relaxed viewing.

Her keen observational powers and deep emotional responses to her environment, enable her to capture the essence of her subject. In either the natural wildlife environment or the environment of mankind this power and emotional response is also the  source of her distinctive expressionistic style which manifests the rich fusion of her Afro-European background.

The Garden

A wide selection of bronze sculptures ranging from wildlife studies to abstract expressive work with the strong African influence of her origins, are on display.
 
The first thing you will notice about the Quin Sculpture Garden, is the perfect synergy between sculpture and garden. Relax in the shade of the trees while enjoying refreshments, discussing your artistic preferences and becoming involved in a stimulating experience. 

If it is commissions you are after, these are the perfect surroundings to contemplate a water feature or anything to suit your own garden or home.

A nominal entry fee is charged. Enjoy as many cups of tea/coffee as you like under the jacaranda tree!

• 9am - 4.30pm Monday - Friday
• Saturday 9am - 1pm
• Saturday Afternoon & Sunday by appointment only.
